Anubis is the jackal headed god of the Egyptian underworld; whose duties include conducting the souls of the dead to the underworld and the weighing of their hearts to determine the whether the deceased will be led before Osiris, or have their heart fed to a demon. The son of Osiris and Nephthys, he is also credited with inventing the art of embalming. Made of cold cast resin & hand painted, this 9" tall statue is perfect for any collection.

Bast, a national deity of ancient Egypt, was the cat headed goddess of the beneficial aspect of the Sun, opposing Sekhmet, who personified it`s destructive power. She was said to be the sister or daughter of Ra, and also his wife. She was a kind goddess, and protect men against evil spirits and contagious disease. She is depicted here in her full cat form. Made of cold cast resin & hand painted, this statue stands. 8 1/2" high.

Standing 8 1/2" tall and made of hand painted cold-cast resin, this statue is a representation of Hathor an ancient goddess from the Egyptian pantheon. In Egyptian mythology, Hathor (Egyptian for house of Horus) was originally a personification of the Milky Way, which was seen as the milk that flowed from the udders of a heavenly cow. She was also known as the eye of Ra. Hathor is an ancient goddess, and has been worshiped as a deity from at least 2700 BCE during the second dynasty. She was the daughter of Ra and Nut.

Isis, open winged, and in her full glory. Shown here in her later image, that with horns and disk, Isis was the most venerated goddess in Egypt. She was the mother of Horus the Younger and wife and sister of Osiris. Considered to be the greatest magician of all time, Isis` accomplishments include bringing Osiris back to life and helping him become a god in the underworld and forcing the god Ra to reveal his secret name to her. She is associated with motherhood, marital devotion and healing the sick. The statue is of cold cast resin & hand painted. She is 9" high, with a wingspan of 13".

Ma`at was the Ancient Egyptian concept of truth, law, morality, and justice. Regulating the stars, seasons, and the actions of both mortals and the deities, it was Ma`at who set the order of the universe from chaos at the moment of creation. After her role in creation and continuously preventing the universe from returning to chaos, her primary role in Egyptian mythology dealt with the weighing of souls that took place in the underworld, Duat. The weight of a single feather from Ma`at was the measure that determined whether the souls (considered to reside in the heart) of the departed would reach the afterlife successfully or dwell forever in the underworld. This beautiful statue of Ma`at is hand painted in black and gold out of a sturdy cold-cast resin. Standing 8 3/4" tall, with a 10" wingspan from tip to tip, Ma`at wears a richly patterned golden dress and a single ostrich feather in her hair.
